Klangbox is an artistic organisation active in Switzerland and abroad and whose objective is to create bridges between music and all forms of expression (sport, dance, cuisine, architecture, theatre, astronomy, folklore, etc.).
Its originality and uniqueness result from the assimilation of these means of expression into each new musical project.
Mainly contemporary, improvised, classical or popular, music is the central axis around which the multiple possible artistic and spatial configurations are articulated.
Pascal Viglino is the current artistic director.
Klangbox performs throughout Switzerland and abroad (Landesmuseum Zürich, Festival du Printemps des Arts de Monte-Carlo, Musikfestival Bern, Verbier Festival, Théâtre du Crochetan de Monthey, Dampfzentrale Bern, Verbier Art Summit, Pfingskonzerte Ittingen, Davos Festival, Petithéâtre de Sion, Germany, France, Egypt and Italy).
Tilt: can we start again? and Soledades, variations of solitudes, the new creations by Klangbox are currently on tour.
Klangbox was awarded the 2012-13-14 MusiquePro Scholarship
Klangbox is an official partner of the Nestlé Foundation for the Arts 2019-2020.
